POTTSTOWN PA – As the holiday buying spree gets into full swing, some local shoppers undoubtedly will look for that perfect, unique, or extra-special gift for a friend, family member, or themselves. Maybe it’s something romantic. Maybe adventurous. Maybe even … a little kinky?
Like, maybe, a Las Vegas wedding.
An e-mail from Clark County NV County Clerk Lynne Marie Goya promises it’s no joke. However, those interested need to act quickly. A lengthy list of Vegas-style weddings will go on sale across Southern Nevada only on CyberMonday (Dec. 1, 2025), Goya reports.
Several are described as “deeply discounted elopement packages.” All are promoted as “giving couples unprecedented access to limited-time savings for ceremonies, elopements and full-scale receptions.” They highlight “the destination’s signature variety, affordability and romance,” the e-mail suggests, and offer everything from “classic chapels to immersive digital environments and punk-rock-themed celebrations.”

What You Can Order, and Where

Las Vegas, the self-proclaimed Wedding Capital of the World™, “continues to set the global standard for affordability, convenience and choice when it comes to wedding planning,” Goya says. The CyberMonday deals, she adds, represent “one of the best times of the year to book a wedding.”
Yes, the marriage industry still booms in Vegas. Goya’s office issues more than 75,000 marriage licenses per year. That makes it “the wedding location with the highest marriage rate in the world,” she says,
Her e-mail includes 17 special offers. They include places with presumably intimate venues: Bliss Wedding Chapel, Chapel of the Flowers, Lucky Little Chapel, Paradise Wedding Chapel, Royal Wedding Chapel, Say I Do Chapel, and That Chapel Downtown. Others have more recognizable names: Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Golden Nugget Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, J.W. Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa, and The Punk Rock Museum.
Specifics of each package vary. So do their costs. The least expensive offering is about $230. The priciest is about $90,000 for 250 guests. The latter, Santa would likely agree, amounts to one grand gift.
