POTTSTOWN PA – Local individuals, families and businesses are being offered a chance to show off their creativity, boost the area’s holiday spirit, and also support the Pottstown Farm and Artisan Regional Market (FARM).
Pottstown FARM presents a large market from spring through fall downtown at Smith Family Plaza. Its vendors offer fresh and locally grown agricultural products and handmade artisan goods. FARM programs and incentives also ensure easy access to fresh foods for those in need.
Now its organizers hope the public and local companies can help it by participating in a holiday fund-raising event.
The event is easy and bears little cost, representatives say. They ask prospective sponsors to request a wreath by Oct. 30 (2025; Thursday). It will be supplied and delivered by Oct. 31.
To get started those interested in becoming sponsors should send their name and phone number, or that of their business, by e-mail to Ptownfarm@gmail.com. Once it receives your request, it will send a form to deliver a wreath.
Return Completed Wreaths by Nov. 20
Decorate the wreath when it arrives, and add to it a gift card of $25 (minimum) or more; hopefully from a local business or merchant. Wreaths must be completed and returned to FARM before Nov. 20 (Thursday).
Finished wreaths can be dropped off at Grumpy’s Handcarved Sandwiches, 137 E. High St., on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., or Fridays and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m; or call 484-948-6061 and ask for Sheila to arrange an alternative day or time.
Each wreath and its accompanying gift card will be labeled with its sponsor’s name, and put on display at the Anno Artem Art Gallery, 1 Security Plz., from Nov. 28 to Dec. 13. The dates coincide with Pottstown’s “Hometown Holidays” event.
During the period, members of the public can purchase $1 tickets to vote for their favorite wreaths, and cast their ballots in baskets below each display. Wreath winners will be selected Dec. 14 (Sunday), and will be notified by a phone call to arrange pick up their wreaths.
