LIMERICK PA – The Victory Bank, the Limerick-based financial institution formed in 2008, is being acquired by QNB Corp. of Quakertown, the Philadelphia Business Journal (paywall) reported Wednesday (Sept. 24, 2025).

QNB Corp. is the corporate parent of QNB Bank. QNB and Victory were said to have reached agreement on a deal after about six months of discussion. The reportedly all-stock purchase of Victory Bank has an estimated value of about $41 million, Journal Senior Reporter Jeff Blumenthal wrote. Both banks are profitable, the Journal article adds.

The Victory Bank parking lot on North Lewis Road in Limerick was filled with activities more than 15 years ago, when the institution celebrated its grand opening with its employees and the public

Once the transaction is completed, the resulting bank is estimated to hold $2.36 billion in assets. It will have 14 branches, and three loan production offices.

The transaction is anticipated to close later this year, or early in 2026. Blumenthal notes that QNB last summer received its board’s approval to explore the potential for acquisitions within its market.

QNB was founded in 1877 as Quakertown National Bank. The combination allows it to expand in Montgomery and Chester counties, and enter Berks County, according to Blumenthal’s article.
