Nine SCORE Workshops, Webinars Scheduled Over 34 Days

POTTSTOWN PA – SCORE TriCounty, the Pottstown organization that provides free assistance to help grow local small businesses, is an entreprenurial education resource too. Its regularly changing calendar of scheduled webinars and workshops is designed to empower business owners in meeting their goals.

Nine SCORE Workshops, Webinars Scheduled Over 34 Days

During the 34 days between Aug. 21 (Thursday) and Sept. 23, the chapter offers small business owners opportunities to participate in nine different live webinar events intended to foster growth.

Workshops Remaining in August

Some workshops are free, others require small fees. Click on any green-colored titles below to learn about the presentations. They include:

  • On Aug. 21 from 1-2 p.m., “From Overwhelmed to Organized – How A Virtual Assistant Can Help You Grow.” Learn learn how to determine whether hiring a virtual assistant is right for you and identify which tasks you should keep versus delegate;
  • On Aug. 22 from noon to 1:30 p.m., “Cybersecurity for Small Businesses.” Benefit from an overview of the cybersecurity environment, and how it directly affects small businesses;
  • On Aug. 26 from noon to 1:30 p.m., “Cash Flow Management Basics.” Gain an understanding of cash flow, its importance, and review a model to predict cash flow;
  • On Aug. 26 from 1-2 p.m., “Think Like a CEO – How to Structure Your Business for Sustainable Growth.” See simple systems and workflows that reduce daily chaos, create clarity, build sustainable business growth, and allow you to lead your business rather than just manage tasks;
  • On Aug. 27 from noon to 1:30 p.m., “Networking That Works: Building a Referral-Driven Business.” Explore proven strategies for developing a strong referral network, and leveraging relationships to drive consistent business growth;
  • On Aug. 28 from noon to 1:30 p.m., “Developing Financial Projections for Your New Small Business.” Get insights on calculating startup costs, projecting sales, creating a projected profit and loss statement and cashflow statement;
  • On Aug. 28 from 1-2:30 p.m., “How to Create an AI Integration Plan – Systematically Review Every Business Function.” Learn how to create an AI integration plan and conduct a methodical review of all aspects of your business. Determine exactly where AI can save you time, reduce costs, and improve results.

On Its September Calendar (So Far)

  • On Sept. 4 from 1-2 p.m., “Budget-Friendly Branding: Create a High-Value Brand for Less.” Learn how to create a professional, high-value brand using free and low-cost tools, along with simple do-it-yourself marketing strategies you can put into action right away; and
  • On Sept. 23 from noon to 1 p.m., “Borrowing for Small Businesses.” Understand business financing options to put you in the best position to get funding for business needs. Learn why businesses borrow, where to turn for funding, and how the lending process works.

Other seminars are offered weekly or monthly. “Our mission is to foster vibrant small business communities,” TriCounty chapter representatives explain. “Through mentoring and education, we help entrepreneurs transform ideas into successful enterprises—and that impact ripples across our entire community.”

Daily Voice Pottstown. Covers municipalities in western Montgomery County and beyond.

MyChesCo. MyChesCo has covered Chester County news since 2017.

Berks Community Television. Covers Berks County.

Spotlight PA. An investigative news service for Pennsylvania, supported by several news organizations statewide. It publishes a Berks County Edition.
