Gazzo’s Steaks Looks Ahead to an Ardmore Opening

POTTSTOWN PA – This week is expected to be an eventful one for the owners of Gazzo’s Steaks, 22 S. Hanover St.
The popular local cheesesteak provider is due to soon open a new store soon in Ardmore PA, 31 miles southeast of the borough.Official inspections were on the calendar to be conducted there Thursday (July 17, 2025), its Facebook page reports.

If all goes well, they could be followed by its Delaware County opening on July 23 (Wednesday), the restaurant adds.
Gazzo’s acknowledges the expansion has taken time, and represents “a long road, from a full gut to complete kitchen build-out.” The payoff, though, is in breaking through to a new market loaded with potential, management notes. “Our menu will be something the area hasn’t experienced yet,” it says.
The Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper, which announced the expansion plans in September 2024, dubbed Gazzo’s as “a new cheesesteak empire in the making.”
It hopes to appeal to the area’s wealth of college-age eaters, and also rely on referrals from Pottstown to those in Ardmore. Social media is likely to help, too, as it did with Gazzo’s start in a food truck on North State Street, though its downtown Pottstown opening, and its award-winning successes.
The Ardmore location, at 2528 Haverford Rd., reportedly is small by comparison to the Pottstown store. It offers a take-out window, accompanied by parking and outdoor patio seating.

Applebee’s Adds Two Entrées to Its ‘Pairs Menu’
POTTSTOWN PA – The two-person pairing deal at Applebee’s Restaurants, its two-meals-for-$25 deal, has added two new entrées and kept a third as what it calls “a fan favorite.”

For a limited time, guests can enjoy the new “Chicken Parmesan Fettuccine,” new “Big Bangin’ Burger,” or the continued Oriental Chicken Salad. All are paired with an appetizer or two side salads. They’re available for dine-in, to-go, or delivery.
The fettuccine features a crispy chicken breast filet smothered in marinara sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese. It lies on a bed of fettuccine pasta in a Parmesan cream sauce, and is served with a buttery garlic and parsley breadstick.
The burger features an all-beef patty topped with two slices of American cheese and Applebee’s new sweet and spicy secret sauce. It’s served with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on a Brioche bun. The sauce is made with jalapeños and bacon.

A Personal Pan at Pizza Hut for Just $2, But …

POTTSTOWN PA – The “but” is that Pizza Hut’s special deal on one-topping personal pan pizzas is available only on Tuesdays during July.
That means a scant two opportunities – July 23 and 30 – remain for what’s being called “$2-Buck Tuesday.”
“The iconic, crispy-yet-fluffy, fan-favorite pizza that’s been a signature of the brand since 1980 is now less than your morning coffee,” the restaurant claims. More than 3,100 Pizza Hut restaurants sold out of its product on launch day, July 2, according to a QSR Magazine report.
Pizza Hut operates at locations in Stowe, Royersford, and Reading.
