SCHWENKSVILLE PA – Kids love to have stories read to them, and the Perkiomen Valley Library at Schwenksville is accommodating their craving.

Look for the library’s banner planted in a different park each week. Here are locations still on the schedule:

  • July 24,, at Perkiomen Park, 1 Trappe Rd., Perkiomen;

Children’s Discovery Center Plans Friday Playdate

Keep Kids Occupied with PV Stories, Pottstown Playdate

POTTSTOWN PA – A “creative playdate” for children ages 5 and older, which encourages them to have fun while thinking about the future, is scheduled for Friday (July 18, 2025) from 1-3 p.m. at the Pottstown Children’s Discovery Center, 95 S. Hanover St.

Among the tools kids are likely to enjoy using is a three-dimensional printer.

The program requires the attendance of a parent or caregiver, who also can be involved in the activities.

Space in the event is limited. The event is free, but advance online registration and a daily admission ticket (its cost is $10 per child) are required. Children of families with an annual center membership are admitted free.

For more information, call the Discovery Center at 215-872-4728, or send an e-mail from its website.
