POTTSTOWN PA – Where are the fireworks?

For Independence Day celebrations, that’s the burning question on almost everyone’s mind. Here’s a list of what’s local:

In North Coventry Township

July 3 (Thursday), Fireworks in North Coventry, scheduled at about 9:30 p.m. free admission (rides, foods, beverages available for purchase); parking available at 745 S. Hanover St., Pottstown (by donation); (rain date July 5 if necessary); beer garden opens at 6 p.m. with live music; all-you-can-ride wristband offered from 6 p.m. to close; at the Norco Fire Company, 144 W. Schuylkill Rd., Pottstown PA

In Pottstown Borough

July 4 (Friday), Fireworks in Pottstown, start at around 9:30 p.m., free admission; the show represents the culmination of the annual Pottstown GoFourth Festival, which operates from 3-9:30 p.m.; it’s preceded by an East High Street parade at 10:15 a.m.; fireworks are held at Memorial Park, 75 W. King St., Pottstown PA

In Limerick Township

July 4 (Friday), Fireworks in Limerick, the 31st annual show conducted by Waltz Golf Farm, 6-9:30 p.m. (fireworks at dusk, no set time), free admission (donations for parking benefit the Limerick Fire Department); includes food trucks, live music by “AM Radio,” half-price mini-golf after the event; held at the Golf Farm, 303 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick PA

In Phoenixville Borough

July 4 (Friday), Fireworks in Phoenixville, start between 9 and 9:30 p.m., free admission; featuring live music, games, food, and other entertainment from 6-10:30 p.m.; bring lawn chairs and blankets, no alcohol, drugs, or pets allowed; held at Dayton Field, Dayton Street, Phoenixville PA

In Skippack Village

July 4 (Friday), Fireworks in Skippack, start at dusk, free admission; part of the annual Skippack Village Fourth of July Celebration, parade begins at 11 a.m. on Route 73 through the village; followed by a barbecue at Parc Bistro; fireworks to be held at Palmer Park, 4022 Heckler Rd., Collegeville PA

In King of Prussia

July 4 (Friday), Fireworks in King of Prussia, start at dusk, free admission; full celebration 3-10 p.m., foods and beverages from 15 vendors available for purchase, music by “Plush” at 5 p.m.; limited parking available at Phucas Center, 4000 Geerdes Blvd., additional parking across the street; at Heuser Park, 694 W. Beidler Rd., King of Prussia PA

The PCTV Network. PCTV, headquartered in Pottstown, provides local television programming in western Montgomery, northern Chester, and eastern Berks counties.

MyChesCo. MyChesCo has covered Chester County news since 2017.

Berks Community Television. Covers Berks County.

Spotlight PA. An investigative news service for Pennsylvania, supported by several news organizations statewide. It is starting a Berks County Edition.
