Pottstown Arts In The Park to Fill Saturday’s Hours with Joy

Fill Saturday Hours with Joy, at Pottstown Arts In The Park

POTTSTOWN PA – Fun and family-friendly activities, and a mission to introduce and welcome more local residents to the joys of the arts in all their forms, will combine Saturday (May 31, 2025) from noon to 3 p.m. as this year’s “Pottstown Arts In The Park” blossoms in Riverfront Park on College Drive.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. It is being jointly sponsored by Pottstown Community Arts, the High Street Music Company, and the Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department.

At the park, the day kicks off with nine separate performances by local talent at the stage within its grassy amphitheater. Meanwhile, at locations across the borough, several organizations and businesses will host focused activities that put participants at the heart of artistic creation.

Performances at the Amphitheater

Here are starting times for the line-up of performances at the Riverfront Park amphitheater:

  • At 12 p.m., watch Ridiculous Nicholas juggle a variety of items, and create magic before your eyes;
  • 12:30 p.m., a fashion show is sponsored by Steel River Playhouse. The audience is invited to dress up, or come dressed as, characters from “Legally Blonde,” “The Wizard of Oz,” and “Seussical.” They’ll be joined by Ms. Krysta, singing Disney song covers;
  • 1 p.m., teen actors involved in Art Bubble 19464 will perform four songs from Broadway musicals;
  • 1:15 p.m., Current students of The High Street Music Company will sing or play a musical instrument;
  • 1:45 p.m., Coach Justin of Just Youth Athletics will teach a cheer;
  • 1:55 p.m., Actors from Steel River Playhouse involved in its “Mary Poppins Junior” show will perform two songs;
  • 2:10 p.m., Pottstown Dance Theatre’s Ms. Krysta will teach “Around the World” dance steps;
  • 2:25 p.m., Watch puppies from the Animal House Project demonstrate their painting talent; and
  • 2:40 p.m., a second fashion show is presented by Steel River Playhouse.

Performance times may vary slightly, and some shows could be “shuffled in order,” organizers say.
