Ciresi Plans June 4 ‘Town Hall’ Meeting in Pottstown

POTTSTOWN PA – 146th House District state Rep. Joe Ciresi will host a town hall meeting for constituents June 4 (2025; Wednesday) from 6:30-8 p.m. in the auditorium at Pottstown High School, 750 N. Washington St. Its doors will open at 6 p.m.
Ciresi says he will answer constituents’ questions and comments “about issues in the district and what’s going on in Harrisburg.” Members of his Royersford office staff also will be available to offer residents information on state government-related programs and services.
“I’m looking forward” to the meeting, Ciresi adds. “I encourage everyone to come out. It’s a great opportunity to have your burning questions answered and to learn what my office can do for you.”
Ciresi’s district includes all or parts of Limerick, Lower Pottsgrove, and West Pottsgrove townships; Pottstown and Royersford boroughs, and the school districts of Pottsgrove, Pottstown. and the Spring-Ford Area.

Free June 13 ‘Scam Jam’ Offers Tools to Avoid Fraud

POTTSTOWN PA – A seminar intended to help the public recognize and prevent frauds and scam attempts is scheduled for June 13 (2025; Friday). 24th District state Sen. Tracy Pennycuick will conduct what’s described as a “Scam Jam” event from 10 a.m. to noon in the TriCounty Active Adult Center, 288 Moser Rd.
Experts from state and local agencies will share insights into the latest scams, and describe red flags to watch for. They also will offer practical steps to safeguard personal and financial information, and avoid fraud, identity theft, and financial scams.
Providing advice, in part, are representatives of the state Department of Banking & Securities, state Office of Attorney General, and AARP Pennsylvania. Also participating are the Montgomery County District Attorney, and borough Police Department.
Those who attend will benefit by hearing from “a team of professionals dedicated to protecting Pennsylvanians and providing the tools and knowledge to stay safe,” Pennycuick says. Advance registration is requested. Those planning to attend should reserve seats by calling the senator’s office at 215-541-2388, or sign up online.
