POTTSTOWN PA – A new franchise location for 1-800 WATER DAMAGE, a company that provides property restoration services to homeowners, has opened on East High Street in Pottstown (Lower Pottsgrove Township). Its local owner and operator is Stephen George, who began his own mold inspection and remediation business in 2018.

His franchise, 1-800 WATER DAMAGE of South Berks, represents the company’s fifth Pennsylvania location. It opened during March as part of the BELFOR Franchise Group family of brands.

George will be assisted in the business by his father. In his free time, George enjoys traveling and racing cars. He also has previously worked as an information technology security manager, and a home improvement contractor.

1-800 WATER DAMAGE provides a range of services that include flood and water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, sewage cleanup, commercial restoration services, and mold removal and remediation. Call 1-800 WATER DAMAGE of South Berks at 610-605-2307, or send George an e-mail at stephen.george@1800waterdamage.com.

As George and his team offer property damage restoration services across Pottstown, Reading, southern Berks County, and surrounding areas, he says they are “looking forward to building relationships with local property owners in need of our services.”

Because “disasters never happen on a schedule,” the company notes, it is available 24/7 to answer calls and provide a prompt response.
