‘World-Famous’ Chicken Debuts June 9 in Pottstown

BALTIMORE PA – Royal Farms, the convenience store and gas station that says it’s also known for “World-Famous Chicken,” reports it will officially open June 9 (2025; Monday) at its new Pottstown (Lower Pottsgrove Township) location, 296 Armand Hammer Blvd.

The company will conduct “soft opening” events June 4 and 5 (Wednesday and Thursday) to provide public previews of the store. A free “complimentary meal” from a special menu is offered both days, but is available only to ticket-holding visitors. Tickets are free, and registration is available online at Eventbright.

The new location features 16 fuel dispensers, a car wash, year-round 24/7 service for fuel and shopping, and made-to-order food. The regular menu includes its signature chicken, breakfast options, and sandwiches, it adds in a media release.

Royal Farms says it continues to seek “Pennsylvanians interested in working” for the company. They can apply for positions online. Find other Royal Farms locations in Douglassville and Collegeville.

MIAMI FL – Subway restaurants’ 30-day offer of a foot-long sandwich for $6.99 hits the halfway mark Friday (May 16, 2025), and has slightly more than two weeks to go. The price is good on its “entire menu” of sandwiches, it says.

Patrons can choose bread, sliced meats, vegetables, toppings, and sauces or their liking; or make a selection from the company’s menu of 30 creations. They include “deli classics, chicken, Italianos, and steak.” Cristina Wells, a Subway senior vice president, claims its deal gives diners “the right mix of price, taste and quality.” (Source and Photo: Subway Restaurants).

LEBANON TN- Cracker Barrel Old Country Store restaurants have brought back their “Campfire Meals,” as of May 6 (2025), for a limited time. They were removed from the menu 7 years ago, the company says.

Diners can choose from chicken, beef, or shrimp skillets, all with a “distinctive, smoky taste,” as though prepared over a campfire. Each is braised with a special seasoning, wrapped in tinfoil, and slow-cooked “to induce a bounty of aroma and flavor.” They come with a variety of veggies, and a buttermilk biscuit or cornbread muffin. Prices start at $10.99. (Source and Photo: PR Newswire).
