Savor Spring Blossoms While Sipping A Rosé Cocktail

Sip A Rosé Cocktail While Savoring Spring Blossoms

April 25, 2025

HARRISBURG PA – Their pink color blends perfectly with new flowers of the season. You can practically taste Mother Nature in each sip. So, sure, the freshest cocktails are being made with spring rosé.

Those are plaudits offered Friday (April 25, 2025) by Pennsylvania’s Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores for their just-released “pretty pink cocktails” recipes. Stores operate locally in Pottstown, Gilbertsville, North Coventry, Douglassville, Royersford, Upper Providence, Schwenksville, Collegeville, Phoenixville, Pennsburg, Birdsboro, and Harleysville.

These wines rely on a smaller percentage of a grape’s skin color during their production, according to the Wine Insiders’ “Comprehensive Guide to Rosé Wine.” That makes its appearance far lighter and “different from red wines (such as Pinot Noir) that use all the pigments,” the guide explains.

The wines “can be made from numerous different types of grapes, and are produced and sold in many countries around the globe,” it adds. They also falls within “a range of sweetness levels,” the guide notes. Some are very dry, others extremely sweet.

Plenty of Variety in 14 Rosé Recipes

For its just-published recipes, Fine Wine & Good Spirits provides a variety of beverages. It says they enable consumers to:

  • “Sip on floral sweetness and citrus notes with aromatic bitters in its Splash of Spring Rosé;”
  • Enjoy the “effervescent finish” of the sparkling version,” bringing all flavors together “for the quintessential spring cocktail;” or
  • Try something “a bit bolder” with “the Rosé Margarita. (Its) earthy tequila, softened by crisp, fruity rosé, creates a surprising yet balanced mix that’s smooth and unexpectedly refreshing.”

Sample recipes for two rosé cocktails appear above. Find complete directions for a full list of 14 entertaining choices online at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits website.

Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores are operated by the Harrisburg-based Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
