NASCAR Again Approves Grandview for Weekly Race Series

NASCAR Again Approves Grandview for Weekly Race Series

March 10, 2025

BECHTELSVILLE PA – Grandview Speedway has again been sanctioned by NASCAR, enabling the track to be part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series for the 2025 racing season. Grandview has received NASCAR approval over more than three decades, beginning in 1992, it reports in a Monday (March 10) e-mail.

This year’s season represents the 34th consecutive year in which Grandview competitors will enjoy benefits of the track series membership. They include racing for NASCAR point championship money on national, regional, state, and track levels; and the availability of the organization’s insurance coverage.

To take advantage of the approval, all participating drivers at Grandview must hold memberships licensed by NASCAR to race and collect point fund money.

Helping Owners, Drivers, Crews, Officials, Guests

Earnings last year by Grandview NASCAR Modified track champion Jeff Strunk demonstrate the sanction’s value, according to the speedway. Strunk “picked up $10,000 from the track in championship point fund money;” also received $3,500 for winning the track championship; and won an additional $1,500 for becoming the NASCAR Pennsylvania State Champion.

Strunk finished sixth in its Northeast Region standings.

The speedway’s management encourages its audience and ticket-holders to purchase membership licenses as well. License holders who enter the pit area benefit from “extra insurance coverage through NASCAR,” it says, and also receive a discount to enter the pit area at all sanctioned events.

Car owners and crew members can purchase similar memberships, as they have in the past, for the same coverage. Track officials at the speedway are required to purchase NASCAR memberships too.

Membership licenses are now available for purchase online. For more information, to get answers to questions, or solutions to problems send an e-mail to weekly@nascar.com.

Speedway Passes Still Available

Grandview’s management continues to offer the track’s season passes. Grandstand passes cover all Saturday night events, from the season-opening Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker through the Freedom 38 Sportsman and Freedom 76 Modified championship races in September.

Season passes do not include “Thunder on the Hill” special events, or Outlaw Racing Series Enduro/Vintage events.

Passes are priced at $400 per pass. They can be ordered by sending a check or money order to Grandview Speedway, 87 Wilt Road, Bechtelsville PA 19505.

When ordering a pass, include a note stating for whom the pass is being purchased. To speed the delivery process, also send along a self-addressed stamped envelope. Fans can mark season-pass seats during the track’s March 29 (Saturday) Practice Day.
