Limited Steel River Tickets Remain for ‘Charlie Brown’

Limited Steel River Tickets Remain for ‘Charlie Brown’

February 6, 2025

POTTSTOWN PA – Tickets remain available for two of seven scheduled shows of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” which opens Friday (Feb. 7, 2025) at Pottstown’s Steel River Playhouse, 245 E. High St.

Five of the seven – set for Feb. 7, 8, and 9; the Feb. 15 relaxed performance, and Feb. 16 – are sold out, the theater’s ticketing webpage states. Those who want to grab the hottest ticket in town have only two opportunities left: Feb. 14 (Friday) at 7 p.m., and Feb. 15 (Saturday), also at 7 p.m.

Is there a chance to get a seat in any of the sell-outs? Maybe. Those hoping for cancellations, according to the playhouse, should “call 610-970-1199 for possible availability,” its webpage adds.

“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” is based on the beloved Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz. It follows hapless Charlie Brown and his friends as they explore life’s big questions. The show is told through vignettes that mimic the four-panel format of the original comic. Its songs and moments cover different times of the year, such as Valentine’s Day and baseball season.

The Peanuts characters are presented in everyday struggles with self-doubt, failure, and the quest for acceptance. “Catchy tunes, charming dialogue, and timeless lessons” make the production “perfect for audiences of all ages,” the theater says.

The musical’s “joy, laughter, and nostalgia … reminds us all that happiness is just around the corner, even in life’s littlest moments,” it says.

Tickets cost $29 for adults, $24 for seniors age 65 and older, and $17 for students and children age 5 and younger. Place your orders online.

The show runs for about 2 hours and 15 minutes, and includes one intermission. Cast members include Dylan Koch as Charlie Brown, Raven Jane Adilene as Sally, Jessica Koch as Lucy, Andrew Reyes as Linus, Joe Berardi as Schroeder, and Naysa Felix as Snoopy.
