POTTSTOWN PA – Bingo enthusiasts could win a designer purse or gift basket for themselves, or someone special, Feb. 9 (2025; Sunday) as they support the Pottstown Children’s Discovery Center. The extra bonus? They also will have plenty of time to watch the start of the Super Bowl.
The Discovery Center’s largest annual fund-raiser, its Designer Purse Bingo and Basket Raffle, starts at 1 p.m. at the Keystone Fire Hall, 240 Walnut St., Boyertown. “And don’t worry,” center representatives say, “we pledge to have you home hours before Super Bowl kick off!”
Money raised from the event will be matched by the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation, “so your support is doubled automatically,” the center notes. “This funding helps us continue to expand the programming and exhibits we can share with area families. Your impact is necessary, and creates so much opportunity for kids to explore, create and play,” it adds.
Advance registration, available online, costs $30; and if tickets remain available they will cost $35 at the door. The program, includes 20 regular games, and bonus games too. Additionally, the event features raffle baskets, a 50-50 raffle, and door prizes. Food also will be available for purchase.
