Outlets’ Newest Mural Brings Philadelphia Here
POTTSTOWN PA – Artist Carrie Kingsbury of Promiseland Art in Stowe has installed a new mural of Philadelphia-related scenes in the food court of the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, 18 Lightcap Rd.
The Simon-owned outlets, in an early January post on Instagram, said the “piece captures all of your Philly favs, and brings you to the Philadelphia Premium Outlets to … shop, shop, shop!”
It shows the Liberty Bell, as well as a baseball emblazoned with the Phillies logo, a basketball with the 76ers imprint, and a Flyers hockey puck. Also featured are the Rocky statue, a soft pretzel, Philadelphia City Hall with the city skyline, and the LOVE sculpture.
The mural additionally displays U.S. Route 422 and Interstate 76 highway signs. According to the outlets’ recent e-mail, they emphasize the connection between “favorite attractions” in the city and the shopping destination.
Other murals at the outlets, on exterior walls, have been highly popular among people interested in taking selfies while shopping.

Potential Market Changes Concern Fromm Electric
READING PA – The potential for future pricing and supply chain changes, which could affect goods marketed by Fromm Electric Supply, has prompted its leadership team to “closely” monitor developments in the electrical industry, it says in a Monday (Jan. 27, 2025) e-mail to its subscribers.
Tariffs proposed by the U.S. government on imported materials present “the possibility of sudden price changes” by its suppliers, and related supply chain issues. Reading-based Fromm, which operates stores in Pottstown and seven other Pennsylvania locations reports it is “staying in regular contact with our supplier partners to anticipate potential changes.”
Fromm acknowledges the situation is “evolving,” and that the “timeline for any adjustments remains uncertain.” In an effort to be “to transparent about how these changes might impact” customers, Fromm says it is keeping them “informed every step of the way.” Its intent, it adds, is to “to navigate these challenges proactively, together.”
For its part, Fromm notes it is “working diligently with our suppliers to maintain appropriate inventory levels, to help ensure smoother transitions if cost increases occur.” It also encourages customers “to avoid ‘panic buying,’ and instead focus on planning ahead.”
“If price adjustments become necessary,” it concludes, “we will communicate any changes promptly and do everything possible to minimize impacts on (its customers’) business. We value your partnership and remain dedicated to providing the reliable products and services you count on.”
