January 23, 2025

OAKS PA – In what’s being presented as “a thrilling weekend for racing fans,” the 2025 Pioneer Pole Building (PPB) Motorsports Show will open this weekend (Friday and Saturday, Jan. 24-25, 2025) at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Dr.

The ticketed event provides a showcase for famous racing talent, book signings, on-stage discussions, and displays of rare and historic race cars. NASCAR Hall of Famers Bill Elliott and Ray Evernham will be joined by racing stars from various disciplines, who will be available to “to sign autographs, share stories,” and celebrate the sport’s history, event promoter Len Sammons says.

Schuylkill Haven PA-based Pioneer Pole Buildings is serving as the show’s title sponsor for the 11th consecutive year. Its show display will feature a wide range of racing vehicles the company is sponsoring this season.

Said to be “at the heart of the event is a special celebration of Evernham’s 50th year in racing. Known for his legendary career in NASCAR,” he will be joined on stage on Friday by Bill Elliott, the 1988 NASCAR Cup Series champion, and Erin Crocker-Evernham, the first woman to win a World of Outlaws Sprint Car race. They intend to offer fans a unique look behind the scenes of NASCAR’s golden years.

Fan-Friendly for Autograph Seekers

As “a fan-friendly event,” those in attendance will have opportunities to meet racing legends, and take home special event autograph cards. Many autograph sessions are scheduled Saturday in timed sessions between noon to 3 p.m. They include:

  • Sprint Car Hall of Fame driver Fred Rahmer, joined by his racing sons Freddie and Brandon Rahmer;
  • Drivers Dave Swanson, Jonathan Swanson, Brett Bieber, Trevor Kobylarz, Matt Warner, and Trent Warner;
  • Craig Von Dohren, one of the most successful Modified drivers of all time;
  • Father and son late-model duo Jim and Bryan Bernheisel;
  • Monster truck driver JR Seasock;
  • Young dirt Modified star Logan Watt;
  • Hirthler family members Kevin, Brian, Jesse, and Kayla;
  • Billy “The Kid” Pauch, joined by his son Billy Jr. and grandson Billy III;
  • USAC East Sprint Car driver Christian Bruno; and
  • Dirt Modified standouts Jared Umbenhauer, Bryce Bashore, and Steve Young.

Full line-ups of speakers are planned both days. Current drivers and racing legends participate in stage discussions of their involvement with the sport, career highlights, and knowledge they’ve gained.

The show also presents first looks at some of the newest racing machines in development or arriving at tracks. Exhibitors and manufacturers will be there too, with new products and technology.

A full schedule of the show’s events is available online. The event is open Friday from 2-9 p.m., and Saturday from 11-8 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $5 for children age 6-11, and children age 5 and younger will be admitted free. They can be purchased online or at the door.

The 2025 PPB Motorsports Show “will be a celebration of motorsports, bringing together fans, drivers, and legends from various racing disciplines for a weekend of memories, autograph sessions, and special events,” Sammons says.
