Pottstown Chamber Ranks 13th Largest in Greater Philly
POTTSTOWN PA – The Pottstown-based TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce ranks 13th largest among 30 chambers in the Greater Philadelphia region, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports in its latest “Book of Lists” feature.
The story, compiled by Journal Data Reporter Todd Romero, “considered all chambers of commerce in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania,” it notes. It did not include Berks County. Relative sizes of chambers making the list were determined by total revenue reported.
TriCounty earned its 13th-place ranking with $482,337 in revenue, according to data from tax filing information provided by the national news outlet ProPublica, the Thursday (Dec. 19, 2024) story states.
Four other area chambers earned spots on the Top 30 list. They are ordered by rank, name, and reported revenue amounts:
- 14, Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, $455,686;
- 25, Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce, $201,818;
- 28, Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce, $199,855; and
- 30, Exton Region Chamber of Commerce, $197,117.

- Norristown Chamber of Commerce;
- Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce;

Constellation Energy Offers 2024 Emergency Info Online
LIMERICK PA – A 2024 notice of emergency planning information that applies to the Limerick Clean Energy Center is now available from the facility’s operator, Constellation Energy Corp. The information, intended for use by residents, visitors and workers within 10 miles of a nuclear power plant, is accessible online.
The website provides general information about “emergency planning preparedness,” as required by the federal government. It includes topics that cover what to do in an emergency, how to prepare for an emergency, functional and transportation needs, public safety, and nuclear power and radiation information.
It also contains site-specific information on 12 facilities, including Limerick.
Constellation’s announcement of the website appeared in a postcard-like flyer distributed to addresses within the 10-mile area. The mailed piece opens up to three panels, one of which encourages individuals with “access and functional needs” to provide the company with information.
It asks about on any “specialized or transportation-related assistance” that may be needed at a location during an emergency.
All information offered on the pre-paid return questionnaire will be kept confidential, Constellation says, and would be supplied to “public safety agencies” that could render assistance.
