‘Fine Wine and Good Spirits’ Stores Plan 20 Free Tastings

HARRISBURG PA – If you’re interested in buying wine or alcoholic beverages during the holidays, but aren’t quite sure what may taste best for your guests or to pair with certain foods, the state’s local Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores have scheduled free events you may find helpful.

  • Dec. 14 (Saturday) from noon to 2 p.m., at the store in the Gilbertsville Shopping Center, 1050 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville PA, featuring Frederick Wildman wine;
  • Dec. 14 (Saturday) from noon to 2 p.m., at the store at 4721 Perkiomen Ave., Reading PA, featuring 19 Crimes Cali Gold, Gabbiano Chianti, St. Huberts The Stag Cabernet Sauvignon, and St. Huberts The Stag Chardonnay;

  • Dec. 28 (Saturday) from noon to 2 p.m., at the store at 125 W. Dekalb Pk., King Of Prussia PA, featuring “The Roaster’s Daughter” crafted with premium vodka, 100% Arabica cold brew coffee, and bittersweet cacao; and
  • Dec. 28 (Saturday) from 2-4 p.m., at the store at 125 W. Dekalb Pk., King Of Prussia PA, featuring a vodka made with Pennsylvania rye, with “a creamy mouthfeel (and) a clean, crisp, spicy finish.”

“Happier holidays start here,” the Fine Wine and Good Spirits website proclaims. Customers looking for holiday inspiration, it says, are likely to “discover trending gifts, expert tips, festive pairings, “the perfect bubbly,” do-it-yourself tips, and other suggestions.
