The Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble, led by Director of Instrumental Music and Senior Master Teacher of the Arts Margie Neiswender, will entertain the audience with a variety of holiday favorites. The program includes “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”
No reservations or tickets are needed to attend the night “filled with holiday spirit and music.”
A Service of Carols and Readings
The Hill will host its annual Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols only two days following the concert, on Sunday (Dec. 15) at 7:15 p.m. in the school’s Alumni Chapel. It will be preceded by an organ prelude from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m.
The holiday worship service features congregational singing of traditional Christmas carols, and readings of scripture by members of The Hill community. Also performing musical offerings are members of the Hill Chamber Choir and Chorus, the Hilltones and Hilltrebles, and the Hill Community Choir.
