Four Local Pharmacies Benefit in J.D. Power Study Results

CONSHOHOCKEN PA – Good Neighbor Pharmacy®, a national franchise for independent pharmacies that includes locations in Pottstown, Pennsburg, Harleysville, and Phoenixville, has won a new award.

The chain says it ranked first in customer satisfaction for an eighth consecutive year among chain drug store pharmacies in the latest J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Pharmacy Study.

As part of the study, Good Neighbor Pharmacy also says it earned Number 1 marks in meeting customer needs, resolving problems or complaints, ease in obtaining prescriptions, digital channel availability, saving customers time or money, and level of trust in the pharmacy. The study is in its 15th year.

Local Good Neighbor Pharmacy affiliates are:

  • Pottstown Discount Pharmacy, 1501 E. High St., Pottstown;
  • Professional Pharmacy of Pennsburg/Red Hill, 931 Main St., Pennsburg;
  • Rann Pharmacy, 377 Main St., Harleysville; and
  • Gateway Pharmacy, 165 Nutt Rd., Phoenixville.

Veterinary Practice Partners Foresees 2024 Growth

Four Local Pharmacies Benefit

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP), which is affiliated with a local Montgomery County veterinary hospital, says in a 2024 mid-year update that it plans to grow “ its community of doctor partners.”

The company provides veterinary practices with “operational support across learning and development, HR, recruiting, marketing, technology, and finance.” Currently its network community includes 206 doctors across 29 states.

So far during 2024, 31 partners have joined the VPP community, That figure reflects an 82-percent increase from the last six months of 2023, the company notes.

Nine of the affiliated practices are in Pennsylvania. They include Skippack Animal Hospital, 3865 W. Skippack Pike, Skippack.

Align ENT + Allergy Adds Another Regional Partner

Four Local Pharmacies Benefit

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Align ENT + Allergy, a management services organization that includes ear, nose, throat, and allergy specialists with local offices, is adding another practice as a partner.

Melnick, Moffitt, & Mesaros ENT Associates of Lebanon PA says it affiliated with Align to benefit from its “professional business” services. The Melnick office in Lebanon in part serves patients in Berks County, it notes.

Also earlier affiliated with Align are:

  • Pinnacle ENT Associates Inc., with office locations that include Limerick, Exton and West Chester; and
  • Berger Henry ENT Specialty Group, with office locations that include Oaks and Lansdale.
