In this edition of Pottstown Foodie, Sanatoga Pizza has unlocked its doors and is welcoming customers. Taco Bell is giving away beverages, and launching its first gelato.
Sanatoga Pizza Opened Tuesday on East High Street
SANATOGA PA – Tuesday (July 23, 2024) was the big day for Sanatoga Pizza, 2209 E. High St., the newest pizza producer in greater Pottstown. It marked its official opening, and staffers on the phone there said they were busy at mid-day answering calls and taking orders.
The restaurant is open Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It offers delivery, too, for minimum orders valued at $15, and accepts most major credit cards as well as Apply Pay.
Sanatoga Pizza’s delivered-by-mail, full color, six-page brochure arrived in a timely manner too, on the same day, via the U.S. Postal Service. It was accompanied by five discount coupon orders; they also appear on its Facebook page.

Free Beverage Marks Taco Bell Baja Blast Celebration
IRVINE CA – Taco Bell restaurants on Monday (July 29, 2024) only will offer a free medium-sized cup of its Mountain Dew Baja Blast fountain drink, or a regular-sized Baja Blast Freeze, to all who ask for it. Requests can be made in stores or using the Taco Bell app. The offer is good while supplies last, the company said.
The give-away is part of what the restaurant calls its 20th “Bajaversary,” acknowledging a years-old collaboration with the Mountain Dew brand. Get your choice in person at Taco Bell locations: it operates in Gilbertsville, Douglassville, Harleysville, Phoenixville, and Audubon. A free beverage or freeze can also be included in third-party deliveries during the month of August, it said.
Taco Bell also noted it will introduce its first Mountain Dew Baja Blast gelato on Sept. 3 (Tuesday). It was developed in partnership with PepsiCo Foodservice, and its tropical lime flavor is said by the company to be “a perfect complement to any cheesy, spicy, saucy order.”
Since its debut in 2004, the tropical lime-flavored beverage has become a fan-favorite flavor and a staple in Taco Bell orders, according to the restaurant.
