POTTSTOWN PA – Lighting up the legal world with unstoppable charm and brilliance, “Legally Blonde: The Musical” officially debuts Friday (July 26) at 7 p.m. in Steel River Playhouse, 245 E. High St. The show runs through Aug. 4 (Sunday).
“Follow Elle Woods on her journey from pink-clad sorority girl to courtroom queen,” the playhouse happily claims. Catchy tunes and a vibrant cast are primary components in the award-winning musical, based on the 2001 movie.
Its story: “Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school.”
“While there she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. “Legally Blonde: The Musical” follows the transformation of Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.”
“Legally Blonde: The Musical” is sponsored by Wolf, Baldwin & Associates P.C., and is produced in partnership with Legal Aid of Southeastern PA.
