July May Be Fun, Scary at Paranormal Cirque III
LIMERICK PA – Paranormal Cirque III, described as a somewhat scary and “crazy yet fun fusion” of circus, theater, and cabaret, is returning July 18-21 (2024; Thursday through Sunday) to Limerick. It will again be hosted at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, 18 Lightcap Rd.
Organizers warn in advance that entertainment offered by Paranormal Cirque III is not for the faint of heart. “If you scare easily, you might want to run,” the outlets’ promotional material advises. Think of it as Halloween thrills, chills, music, dance, and circus acrobatics offered at the height of summer. See the video above for a preview.
The new show (earlier editions also were held at the outlets) is “poised between fun and the most uninhibited fear … (transporting) you to a dark world inhabited by creatures with incredible circus art abilities,” the promotion claims. It represents “the evolution of a show that brings you back to when we dream, and when we had nightmares and fantasies,” it added.
Tickets are available now online for purchase at a variety of seating prices. They range from $20 to $60. “No one under the age of 13 will be admitted to the show,” its ticketing site noted. “Guests age 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult.”
Performances are scheduled under a “black and red big-top tent” at the outlets for July 18 and 19 (Thursday and Friday) at 7:30 p.m.; July 20 (Saturday) at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m.; and July 21 (Sunday) at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Lower Salford Schedules An Ice Cream Social
LOWER SALFORD PA – Enjoy both ice cream and the beauty of Bergey Mill House, 675 Bergey’s Mill Rd., on July 21 (2024; Sunday).
The Heckler Plains Folklife Society will present this year’s “Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social” from 6:30-8 p.m., the Lower Salford Township newsletter reported July 8 in an updated e-mail.
Organizers encourage visitors to “sit a spell,” and enjoy the calming sounds of the Perkiomen Creek or listen to the birds chirp.
Make it easy on yourself, too: bring a own lawn chair or blanket on which to sit or spread out, they suggest.
The Folklife Society will charge a small fee for the ice cream: $4 per dish. Bottled water also will be available. All proceeds benefit continued maintenance of the township’s historic properties.
