NASCAR Again Approves Grandview for Weekly Race Series

Grandview Offers Weekend Modified, Sportsman Twin Bill

June 3, 2024

BECHTELSVILLE PA – Following action-packed race events last week, Grandview Speedway is ready for another two days of auto racing Friday and Saturday (June 7-8, 2024) at the track, 43 Passmore Rd.

Two shows beginning Friday feature the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage Cars in action, along with the Xcel 600 Modifieds. They start at 7 p.m. Pit gates open at 2 p.m., with grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Grandstand admission will be $10. Children ages 12 and younger are admitted free. Friday’s pit admission is $30.

A.D. Moyer Lumber Company is the presenting race night sponsor for Saturday’s program, featuring the traditional double header for T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman. They include all qualifying events for both divisions in a 30-lap Modified main event, and a 25-lap Sportsman feature race.

Saturday night’s program, part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, will see pit gates open at 4 p.m. Grandstand gates open at 5:30 p.m., with warm-ups starting at 6:15 p.m. The first race of the evening gets the green flag at 7:30 p.m. Adult grandstand admission is $20; students ages 10-15 with identification are $10, and children age 9 and younger are admitted free. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members, and $45 for non-members.

Saturday also is the final night to use any tickets or wristbands from May 25 races.

Excitement beyond the weekend

A second “Thunder on the Hill Racing Series” event is scheduled at Grandview on June 11 (Tuesday). It features the 17th annual Jesse Hockett Classic Eastern Storm for the USAC National Championship non-wing Sprint Cars. The Sprint series will be joined by 358 Modifieds for a two-division program starting at 7:30 p.m.

Macmillan Oil Company of Allentown will present the races on June 15 (Saturday) that include both the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T. P. Truck Equipment Sportsman in action at 7:30 p.m.

Another popular event from last season is also getting closer on the Grandview schedule. The track’s “Back to the 90’s Night” is planned for July 6 (Saturday) with grandstand admission for just $10.

Grandview Speedway presents NASCAR stock car racing and added special events very Saturday night, weather permitting, from April through October. For more information see its website, its Facebook page, or call 610-754-7688.
