It's A Memorial Day Weekend Filled with Stuff to Do
The Pottstown Farm and Artisan Market (FARM) opens its 2024 season Saturday in downtown Pottstown. Fresh foods and great gifts abound there

Weekend Stuff May 24-27: A Past Travels Calendar

May 23, 2024

POTTSTOWN PA – It’s a weekend for memories of sacrifice, and the nation’s thanks to those who lost their lives in assuring our freedom. However you choose to spend the four-day (May 24-27) holiday, pause for a moment to remember the United States’ fallen heroes.

There will be parades and remembrance services locally to mark the occasion; find a list here. Most local, state, and federal government offices will be closed during the period, too, so official business with them must wait until Tuesday (May 28) or later.

There are also about 40 different activities and entertainments planned for the weekend. They include three car shows and cruise-in events in Pennsburg, Pottstown, and Phoenixville. Also, get outdoors and take in Saturday morning’s grand opening of the Pottstown Farm and Artisan Market in the downtown shopping district.

Some weekend events are free. Some have fees (labeled as “ticketed”). Some have limitations, registrations, or other conditions. Some may be affected by weather conditions (hint: if unsure, call before you go). Each weekend listing includes a link for more information.
