KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Controlled blasting, lane closures, and traffic stoppages on U.S. Route 422 in Lower Pottsgrove, and unrelated highway resurfacing in Green Lane and Marlborough, are among state highway construction activities next Monday through Friday (May 13-17).
They are compiled from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) media releases.
PennDOT advises drivers to allow extra time when traveling through any work areas. Traffic slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.

Highway resurfacing in Green Lane, Marlborough
GREEN LANE PA – A lane closure is scheduled for Monday through Friday (May 13-17) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Upper Ridge Road, between Route 29 and the Bucks County line, in Green Lane Borough and Marlborough Township, for tar sealing work.
It is one of six road resurfacing projects announced for the week in Montgomery County by PennDOT’s District 6 office in King of Prussia. Across the district’s five-county Philadelphia region, the agency said it was involved in “multiple ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway.”
Its contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement to seal roadways and provide drivers with a safer and smoother riding surface, it added.
