SCORE TriCounty Offers 2 Marketing Workshops for Women

POTTSTOWN PA – In-person events to introduce the use of mobile videos and artificial intelligence (AI) as marketing tools for women entrepreneurs are being scheduled during May by SCORE TriCounty, the volunteer mentoring organization that is a partner of the federal Small Business Administration.

“Step into the future of marketing” at its exclusive Empower Your Brand event for women entrepreneurs, SCORE said in a media release.

Its agenda covers “the importance of video in today’s digital marketplace, tips for creating videos that captivate and engage (an) audience,” how AI can simplify content creation and save time, and how effective marketing can make a business stand out among competitors.

Two dates with limited seating are being offered:

  • May 7 (2024; Tuesday) from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., including lunch, at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit Conference Center, 2 W. Lafayette St., Norristown PA ($25 non-refundable fee, register online here); and
  • May 15 (Wednesday) from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Piccolo Mondo Italian Restaurant, 501 W. Schuylkill Rd., Pottstown PA ($25 non-refundable fee, register online here).

Also, three online workshops

SCORE TriCounty, with offices at 212 E. High St. Ste. 102, also is making available three online live events that may also prove helpful to new business start-ups and veteran business owners. Registration is available now for:

  • May 2 (Thursday), from noon to 1:30 p.m., free, “Social Media Essentials For Business,” providing social media “basics every business owner, should know as well as the latest trends to grow your business;
  • May 7 (Tuesday), from noon to 1 p.m., free, “Supply Chain by Amazon,” which covers how Amazon’s advanced capabilities can be available for supply chains to provide optimized inventory placement, automated replenishment, and reduced costs for shipping and storage; and
  • May 8 (Wednesday), from noon to 1:30 p.m., free, “How to Sell by Building Relationships,” about learning the selling skill of developing relationships to better understand client needs, and work with clients to create solutions that meets those needs.
