Cornhole Contest Scheduled Saturday in Lower Frederick

Cornhole Contest Scheduled Saturday in Lower Frederick

April 17, 2024

SCHWENKSVILLE PA – “Get ready to toss some bags and have a blast,” Lower Frederick firefighters say, during the township fire company’s cornhole tournament Saturday (April 20, 2024). The competition starts at noon at the firehouse, 137 Spring Mount Rd. Prizes will be awarded to winners.

Advance registration at a cost of $40 per team remains available online. Walk-up teams will be accepted early on tournament day at a slightly higher fee, $50. “Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just looking for a fun afternoon out, we invite you to join us for an exciting day of friendly competition and community spirit,” company members said.

Registration guarantees four competitive games, with the possibility of more based on successful play. Also, the company will offer opportunities to test competitors’ skills with “an air mail challenge,” and participation in raffles for a variety of prizes. Proceeds benefit the fire company.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. If needed, as determined by the fire company, a potential April 27 (Saturday) rain date may be considered.
