POTTSTOWN PA – Now the male nuns of “Nunsense, Amen!,” currently on stage at Steel River Playhouse, are playing games. Bingo, to be specific.

Costumed cast members of the comedy that’s scheduled through late April at the playhouse, 245 E. High St., will host fund-raising bingo games there Thursday (April 18, 2024). Doors open at 6 p.m., and games start at 7 p.m.

A total of 20 games are on the ticket that costs $20 (plus a $3 processing fee) , being sold online. Be forewarned, though: “parishoner” (general admission) tickets are limited. Additional bingo cards will be offered for an additional fee.

Concessions also will be available, for separate purchase.

“The nuns are waiting to welcome you,” promoters cheerily noted. “Will Sister Amnesia remember why she is there? Will Sister Myopia be able to read the numbers? Will Sister Mary Annette make a cameo appearance? Anything is possible!,” they claim.

The proceeds benefit Steel River’s operations.
