KING OF PRUSSIA PA – A limited number of pothole patrols are expected to work in northern Chester County during the coming week (April 1-7, 2024).
Although pothole repair crews will be busy elsewhere across Chester and Montgomery counties, according to the King of Prussia-based District 6 office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, they’ll affect only four local roads. They are:
- Route 23, in East Vincent Township;
- Birch Run Road, in West Vincent Township; and
- Route 100 and Hanover Road, in North Coventry Township.
No crews are scheduled for repairs on the district highways in western Montgomery County.
Crews will restrict travel lanes on the listed highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Drivers are advised to be alert of their moving operations, and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns near the crews’ locations. All scheduled work depends on acceptable weather.
Potholes and other concerns about state roads can be reported to PennDOT online, or by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD.
