Althouse Arboretum Hosts Annual Bird Walk on April 7

Sunday Bird Walk Being Led by Audubon Society Expert

UPPER POTTSGROVE PA – A morning bird walk, open to the public and free to attend, is scheduled for Sunday ( April 7, 2024) beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Rd. The arboretum, and Upper Pottsgrove Township park, is operated in partnership with the non-profit GreenAllies organization.

The walk, which has become an annual event, will be led by Vince Smith of the Valley Forge Audubon Society. Smith serves on its Conservation and Community Science, Ornithological Research, and Programs committees.

Those who attend are recommended for dress appropriately for the weather, and bring binoculars if available.
