The department’s Allentown-based District 5 office said the crews will:
- Perform drainage work Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Powder Mill Hollow Road in Earl Township, between Fancy Hill Road and Hemlock Drive. Lane restrictions are anticipated. Drivers should expect delays. They are urged to use caution while traveling through the work zone; and
- Cut brush at I-176 shoulder areas in both directions Wednesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., between Exit 11 at U.S. Route 422 and Exits 1A and 1B at Route 10. Drivers are again reminded to expect delays, and exercise caution in the work zone.
At both sites, progress of the work depends on acceptable weather. Rain may cause delays or cancellations.
