Roller Derby Tournament Continues Sunday in Pottstown

POTTSTOWN PA – Women’s roller derby action that involved six North American leagues in a round-robin tournament began Saturday morning (March 16, 2024) and continued through Sunday (March 17) evening at the 422 SportsPlex, 1400 Industrial Hwy.

The “Hip Hip PA!” event was hosted by Penn Jersey Roller Derby of Camden NJ, and the Black Rose Rollers of Hanover PA. Both teams participated in the tournament, as well as the Connecticut All Stars, the Windy City Second Wind, Flint Roller Derby, and Roller Derby Quebec.

The roller skating duels, attended by a small but enthusiastic audience,were held on a flat track indoors at the SportsPlex south side.

Both days’ meets were live-streamed on the YouTube channel of the Penn Jersey Roller Derby, for free viewing by the public.
