KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Maintenance and contractor crews representing the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation are scheduled through Friday (March 22, 2024) for pothole and deteriorated pavement repair on more than 50 state highways across the region. Included are portions of roads in western Montgomery and northern Chester counties.
On the hole-filling list are:
- U.S. 422 in the Montgomery County townships of Lower Pottsgrove, Limerick, Upper Providence, Lower Providence, and Upper Merion; and
- Route 100 and Hanover Road, both in the Chester County township of North Coventry.
Crews are restricting travel lanes on these highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Drivers are reminded to slow down in work zones. They also are advised to be alert to the crews’ moving operations, and should expect intermittent lane closures and possible traffic disruptions.
All activities depend on acceptable weather.
Potholes and other concerns regarding state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or by using PennDOT’s webpage.
