Phoenixville Looks for Musical Talents; Do You Qualify?

February 23, 2024

PHOENIXVILLE PA – Musicians and other entertainers are being considered for hire by Phoenixville First, the borough’s promotional organization, for its First Friday and Summer Music Series events. If you’ve got demonstrated talent, it’s interested in having you apply.

Phoenixville First “focuses on creating new events and maintaining signature events” that help keep borough streets lively and filled with people, its website explains.

  • Its First Friday Series, held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on the first Friday of every month from May through December, is “held throughout downtown and in the Main and Bridge Street parking lot.” Visitors get to enjoy entertainer talent positioned at various points on the streetscape, and they also can find treasures at and patronize craft and artist vendors at the parking area.
  • The Summer Music Series is scheduled for Fridays (other than First Friday) from 6-8 p.m. during the May-December period, and relies primarily on a variety of live musical acts, the website adds.

Have you got what it takes to qualify for either? If so, submit an application using the organization’s online form.

Phoenixville First also notes that “other popular events and businesses” in the borough hire their entertainers independently. They should be contacted directly by interested entertainers, it suggests.
