Berks Road Work Ahead: Route 100, Conrad Road, U.S. 422

More PennDOT Road Work Coming in Boyertown, Bally

January 28, 2024

ALLENTOWN PA – Maintenance work begun last week in Boyertown and Bally will continue this week at the same locations, according to the District 5 office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

  • On Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2024) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Boyertown, workers will be busy on Montgomery Avenue in both east- and westbound directions, between East 6th and North Berks streets.
  • On both Thursday and Friday (Feb. 1-2) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bally, drivers will find crews on state Route 100 in both north- and southbound directions, between Gehringer and Niantic roads.

Drivers should be alert for potential traffic delays and exercise caution in the work zones, PennDOT said. However, no lane closures or flagging are scheduled at either site. Specifics of the work to be completed were not mentioned.

At both locations, progress of the work is subject to acceptable weather and may be rescheduled if necessary.
