Helping Hands Volunteers Meet Holiday Gift Wrap Needs

December 18, 2023

BECHTELSVILLE PA – With only days to go before Christmas arrives, volunteers for and staff members from Bechtelsville-based Helping Hands Inc. are offering a gift-wrapping service. It could relieve one source of last-minute stress for shoppers.

The non-profit organization’s annual gift-wrap fund-raiser, held at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, 18 Lightcap Rd., Limerick PA, can be found inside the outlets’ food court. It began on Black Friday, and continues through this week. The service will operate daily from Monday through Thursday (Dec. 18-21, 2023) from noon to 7 p.m., according to a notice from the outlets.

Pricing and details are available at the Helping Hands display in the food court.

Helping Hands is located at 415 Hoffmansville Rd. For more than 30 years the organization has offered “programs to persons with intellectual disabilities who are mentally and physically challenged,” its website notes. Programs are “designed around each individual’s needs and implemented in the least restrictive environment” for their safety and well-being.
