Friday’s National Cookie Day at Insomnia Cookie Stores

Insomnia Cookies Give-Aways Mark National Cookie Day

November 30, 2023

PHOENIXVILLE PA – Insomnia Cookies, which operates stores in Phoenixville, Exton, and about 250 other locations nationwide, will observe Friday (Dec. 1, 2023) as National Cookie Day. Its locations will give away cookies, offer special sales, and conduct an “Ultimate Cookie Lover” contest through Dec. 4 (Monday), it said.

During the four-day event “Insomniacs,” which the company’s app users are called:

  • Get a free classic cookie, and can buy a deluxe cookie in-store for $1, when they show the app or place an order “online with any in-app delivery;”
  • Receive 12 classic cookies for free when they buy a classic cookie 12-pack (this may vary by location); and
  • Receive 6 classic cookies for free when they buy a classic cookie 6-pack (it also may vary by location).

Additionally, the company’s contest is looking for someone to prove they are the “biggest cookie lover for 2023.” It challenges participants to create their own cookie flavor, and share a photo online. Entry details are available at its Instagram and TikTok social media pages. Prize give-aways also are being held online at both.

Purdue student Abby Haluska was selected as Insomnia’s Ultimate Cookie Lover of 2022. Her creation is The Cinnamon Bun Filled Deluxe cookie (at top), which will be presented Friday through Sunday (Dec. 1-3) as the company’s National Cookie Day Limited-Edition Cookie. It consists of cinnamon dough with cinnamon chips, white chocolate chips, a filling of cream cheese icing, and topped with cinnamon sugar.
