Two Weeks Remain for Colebrookdale RR Holiday Rides
Sunday's a BIG travel day for Colebrookdale Railroad excursions, with five scheduled trips from Boyertown

Colebrookdale Railroad Holiday Rides End Saturday

November 29, 2023

BOYERTOWN PA – A full schedule of Christmas trains remains through Saturday (Dec. 23, 2023) on the ride calendar of the Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust.

“Join Santa,” the Colebrookdale Railroad announcement proclaimed, for its Santa’s Polar Bear Express and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas train rides. The 60-minute excursions feature restored and decorated Edwardian train cars, service of sweet hot chocolate and cookies, and of course, jolly old Saint Nicholas.

Santa Claus himself reads the story ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas to all passengers on board several daytime or evening train rides, it added. Train excursions start at 10 a.m. and run through 8 p.m. on selected dates throughout the season. Tickets are available for online purchase.

The railroad suggests riders arrive early for their excursions, and visit the snack bar located in the train yard for a bite to eat before boarding. Among its offerings are warm soft pretzels, freshly popped popcorn, and other items … along with a complimentary hot chocolate, served in a reusable Colebrookdale Railroad souvenir cup, to go.

For more information about holiday train rides or about the Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust, call 610-367-0200 or send an e-mail to info@colebrookdalerailroad.com.
