LIMERICK PA – Free live musical entertainment, the availability of specialty foods for purchase, and a themed photo experience all are part of the Philadelphia Premium Outlets’ holiday event scheduled for Dec. 9 (2023; Saturday).
The outlets center at 18 W. Lightcap Rd. in Limerick Township reported it has a variety of activities from 1-3 p.m. intended to have visitors “gear up for the holiday.” Its list includes:
- Live performances from the “Dickens Holiday Carolers,”
- Balloon-twisting entertainers and face-painters,
- A line-up of food trucks – 3 Roosters, Spirit Express, Jethro’s Country Kitchen, Fiesta Churro’s, and others – offering edibles and beverages for purchase, and
- A holiday mural, hand-painted by a local artist, that’s located in the outlets’ food court. It will serve as a background for selfie photos.
“We can’t wait” to see its customers and “spread some holiday cheer,” the outlets’ management said.
Outlets introduce premium parking
Philadelphia Premium Outlets earlier this month (Monday, Nov. 20) announced its introduction of a premium parking service called “UpFront Plus Parking.” The service sets aside designated spaces near a retailing center’s main entrance, “widens each spot, gates the whole section, and allows patrons to park there” usually for a fee, according to an article in the National Real Estate Investor news service.
Additional services may also include a full-time attendant, complimentary use of umbrellas, covered benches, landscaping, and access to carts or strollers, it added.
The outlets’ announcement did not specifically mention what facets of the service its UpFront Plus Parking will provide, or the cost, if any. It said the premium parking area will be located “at the main entrance near (the) Tommy Hilfiger (store).”
The service was made available earlier at other locations operated by Simon Property Group, of which Philadelphia Premium Outlets is a part.
