PMSI Diabetes Health Fair Set for Nov. 11 in Pottstown

POTTSTOWN PA – The annual Diabetes and Diabetes Prevention Health Fair, conducted since 2016 by Pottstown Medical Specialists Inc., is again scheduled for Saturday (Nov. 11, 2023) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pottsgrove High School, 1345 Kauffman Rd.

The event is free to attend, open to the public, and does not require reservations. Its specific focus is to help individuals and families improve their health, prevent diabetes, and better manage diabetes for those affected by it.

The day will be filled with a variety of demonstrations, product sample offerings, professional health screenings, and vendor exhibits. Door prizes will be awarded, veterans who attend will receive a free gift in honor of Veterans Day, and refreshments will be available.

The health fair is among activities in which PMSI is recognizing November as National Diabetes Awareness Month. The event is being sponsored by Novo Nordisk and PMSI.

PMSI operates five primary care offices located in Collegeville, Royersford, Stowe, Pottstown, and Boyertown. Complimenting its physicians and several specialty practices are ancillary services that include an infusion center, pain management treatments, stem cell therapy, diagnostic sleep center, imaging, and clinical research studies.
