Gloria Jean’s Coffees to Open to at Premium Outlets

October 30, 2023

LIMERICK PA – Gloria Jean’s Coffees, an internationally franchised coffee roaster, blender, and server of coffee drinks and products, “is coming soon” to the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, 18 Lightcap Rd., the Simon Property Group Inc.-owned center said Friday (Oct. 27, 2023). It will be located in outlets Suite 1039, but a specific opening date was not reported.

Gloria Jean’s Coffees was founded in Chicago in 1979, and currently operates more than 600 stores in 40 countries, according to its website. Other Gloria Jean’s stores nearest to Pottstown are in Monroeville and Pittsburgh PA; Bridgewater, Jackson, and New Brunswick NJ; and Poughkeepsie and Staten Island NY, its locator indicates.

Its menu offers a wide variety of cold coffee drinks that include cookie, espresso, fruit, and mocha chillers, fruit smoothies, coffees over ice, “un-coffee” chilled beverages, American and European hot coffees, and hot teas and cocoas. The beverages represent more than “30 varieties of single origin blends, infusions, flavored, and decaffeinated whole bean coffees,” its said.

Photos provided by the company show a variety of in-store food items for sale as well. It also sells products online.

The outlets said the company is “committed to building a unified family who consistently serve the highest quality coffee, and provide outstanding and personalized service in a vibrant store atmosphere.”

Gloria Jean’s Coffees is a brand of Australian-based Retail Food Group Ltd., a global food and beverage company. The World Coffee Portal website, which tracks news and developments in the coffee industry, in late August (2023) reported that Retail Food Group planned “to open 100 new Gloria Jean’s cafés in the US over the next three years.”
