PHOENIXVILLE PA – The Pennsylvania Philharmonic will meld holiday classical music with progressive rock Dec. 22 (2023; Friday) during its Holiday Yuletide Concert, starting at 7 p.m. at Phoenixville Area Middle School, 1000 Purple Pride Pkwy., Phoenixville. The 90-minute event offers music ranging from traditional to modern beats.

“This year’s festive flare will feature the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s high powered and dynamic classics, such as A Mad Russian’s Christmas, Christmas in Sarajevo, and Wizards in Winter,” organizers said. “Plus, Delvyn Chase’s iconic holiday overture Rocket Sleigh, traditional favorite selections from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, and beloved holiday movie classics like Miracle on 34th Street.”
Programs also are scheduled for Dec. 3 (Sunday) at 2:30 p.m. at the Miller Center for the Performing Arts at Reading Area Community College, 4 N. Second St., Reading PA; and Dec. 17 (Sunday) at the Zlock Performing Arts Center, 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown PA.
