BECHTELSVILLE PA – Grandview Speedway will remember its founder Saturday (Aug. 12, 2023), starting at 7:30 p.m., with its 53rd annual running of the Forrest Rogers Memorial for T.P. Trailer Modifieds. On the same day, the track also will observe its anniversary weekend of the track’s first race in 1963.
The 50-lap mid-summer championship race will award $10,000 to the winner. Its audience will win, too, enjoying a later fireworks show celebration for the memorial and anniversary. The show will be sponsored by Spunktown Tavern of Boyertown.
Current T.P. Trailer Modifieds point leader Brett Kressley is the defending winner of this event, and was victorious in two of the last three years. He will be looking for two in a row to help maintain his point lead over eight-time Forrest Rogers Memorial winner Craig Von Dohren. Von Dohren sits just 28 points behind the leader in second place in the standings.
Adult grandstand admission for the memorial costs $30; for students 10-15 with identification, $15; and children ages 9 and younger are admitted free. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
