Schwenksville Concert Features Musicians Mike Greer & Co.

August 2, 2023

SCHWENKSVILLE PA – Mike Greer & Co., offering what’s described as “a mix of classic and modern rock with an acoustic core,” are the featured performers Aug. 16 (2023; Wednesday) at 6 p.m. in Meadow Park, 300 Main St. They represent the final installment of the borough’s 2023 “Music in the Meadow” Summer Concert Series.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. Those attending are recommended to bring a chair or blanket on which to sit. Members of Schwenksville Boy Scout Troop 105 will be on hand to sell food at the concert. “Bring your appetite and show your support, the borough encouraged its audience.

“We couldn’t think of a better band to end our summer!,” the borough newsletter reported. It also reminded concert-goers that the performance, which in the past started at 6:30, has been scheduled for a half-hour earlier “due to an earlier sunset.”

Meadow Park is located behind the Schwenksville Borough Hall and Community Center, between the Perkiomen Trail and Perkiomen Creek. It provides “plenty of room to dance, play, and enjoy” the music, the newsletter added.
