Weekend Stuff July 13-16: A Past Travels Calendar

In Phoenixville this weekend, as it has for many years, The Blob and its accompanying Blobfest return. People will run from the Colonial Theatre, screaming (but only if they have tickets; it’s reportedly sold out). The Blob never seems to tire of the plot, nor apparently do the borough’s visitors. There are nine different events for the celebration.

What else, you ask? An organ recital in Sanatoga. The Berks County Fair in Leesport. A reptile show in Oaks. Three performances of the play “Matilda” in Audubon. A Power Rangers get-together for your kids (or the child within us all), also in Oaks. And outdoor concerts in Lower Pottsgrove, Phoenixville, and Green Lane.
